The Discipleship Series

Jesus and His DisciplesIn keeping with our Parish Mission Statement we believe that each of us are called to be disciples. In order to accomplish that end we offer the Discipleship Series as a process for developing our relationship with God and building relationships with one another.

We encourage everyone new to All Saints to attend two foundational courses. These are also the requirements for adult confirmation and membership.

Welcome to All Saints is a time to personally get to know those new to the parish while discussing topics related to who we are. The discussion includes topics about what is the Anglican Mission, why do we worship the way we do, what do we believe and teach, and what does it mean to be Anglican.

The Alpha Course consists of a series of talks addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith.  There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives people a chance to get to know each other. After each talk we divide into small groups to discuss the topic of the evening, ask questions and express opinions. Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

The Discipleship Series continues with two other foundational courses.

Experiencing God has helped millions of believers develop a more intimate relationship with God. Through personal and group study, you will learn how to recognize when God is speaking to you. What's more, this 13-session course helps Christians understand the importance of His timing and how to respond obediently. The result of this obedience is a fresh and exciting spiritual walk. Already translated into nearly 50 languages, this in-depth, small-group study has helped change countless lives around the world. Are you ready to begin Experiencing God at work through you?

Call To Discipleship is a personal and comprehensive look at the totality of Scripture and how its principles apply to everyday life. The principles and purposes of God are revealed through weekly teachings, small group discussions and daily Bible readings.

Other courses and Bible studies are offered from time to time in addition to these core courses.
